EN Two trees that bloom in turn, engaging in a silent and imperceptible conversation for humans, serving as markers for everything that comes, goes away, and returns. Nothing lasts; everything repeats itself, seems to tell us France Dubois as she observes year after year the blossoming of the same magnolia and cherry tree. It’s a gesture that is not static but signifies a cyclical rebirth that only spring allows.

FR Deux arbres qui fleurissent tour à tour, dans une conversation silencieuse et imperceptible pour les humains, marqueurs de tout ce qui arrive, qui disparaît et qui revient. Rien ne dure, tout se répète, semble nous raconter France Dubois en observant année après année la floraison du même magnolia et du même cerisier, dans un geste qui n’est pas figé, mais qui marque une renaissance cyclique que seul le printemps permet.

NL Twee bomen die elkaar afwisselend in bloei staan, in een stille en onmerkbare conversatie voor mensen, als markers van alles wat komt, verdwijnt en terugkeert. Niets blijft permanent, alles herhaalt zich, lijkt ons te vertellen France Dubois, terwijl ze jaar na jaar de bloei van dezelfde magnolia en kersenboom observeert. Het is geen starre daad, maar markeert een cyclische wedergeboorte die alleen de lente mogelijk maakt.
