EN For our next show, we will be presenting a dialogue between Stijn Cole and Elise Peroi, based on the idea of landscape fragmentation. On one hand, Stijn Cole explores the relationship between the artist and his position in the landscape through elusive and expansive moments created from subjective points of view. Elise Peroi, from the other hand, reflects on the notion of time, emptiness and landscape as a “breath”, with spatial installations that function like miniature gardens. The duo exhibition will reflect on the history and essence of landscapes.
FR Pour notre prochaine exposition, nous présenterons un dialogue entre Stijn Cole et Elise Peroi, basé sur l’idée de fragmentation du paysage. D’une part, Stijn Cole explore la relation entre l’artiste et sa position dans le paysage à travers des moments insaisissables et expansifs créés à partir de points de vue subjectifs. D’autre part, Elise Peroi réfléchit à la notion de temps, de vide et du paysage en tant que «souffle», avec des installations spatiales qui fonctionnent comme des jardins miniatures. L’exposition en duo portera sur l’histoire et l’essence des paysages.
NL Voor onze volgende tentoonstelling presenteren we een dialoog tussen Stijn Cole en Elise Peroi, gebaseerd op het concept van fragmentatie van het landschap. Aan de ene kant onderzoekt Stijn Cole de relatie tussen de kunstenaar en zijn positie in het landschap door middel van ongrijpbare en expansieve momenten gecreëerd vanuit subjectieve gezichtspunten. Aan de andere kant overdenkt Elise Peroi het begrip tijd, leegte en het landschap als een "ademhaling," met ruimtelijke installaties die functioneren als miniatuurtuinen. De gezamenlijke tentoonstelling zal zich richten op de geschiedenis en de essentie van landschappen.
